Discover Victoria, Texas

1 of 6
Description: The Victoria Convention & Visitors Bureau went through a redesign of its website with the change from the Explore Victoria Texas brand to Discover Victoria, Texas. Additional technology platforms, such as trip planners through ITI Digital and digital passport programs through Bandwango, were integrated into the website. Additionally, a subpage theme was developed by Saffire for the City of Victoria's main source of information for the 2024 Bicentennial, VictoriaTX200.com.

Objectives: The main objective of the website redesign was to better represent the rich, vibrant culture of Victoria and what a traveler will experience here, whether in the live music scene featuring some of the biggest Tejano music events in Texas, diverse cultures represented at local retailers, and our incredible Tex-Mex scene. New technology platforms, such as ITI Digital and Bandwango, have helped the site have a more professional look and make planning a Victoria experience that much easier. We needed a site that showcased Victoria as a fun destination, which our older site in its muted color palette and lack of identity had a hard time projecting. We are ecstatic with the look of the DiscoverVictoriaTexas.com website and the new identity our CVB as a whole is forging.

Project Costs:
Tourism Rebranding Project - $57,000
Website Subpage Theme Development (VictoriaTX200.com) - $1,500
Website Theme Update (Discover Victoria, Texas) - $1,600
ITI Digital Partnership - $15,000
Bandwango Partnership - $9,500

Description: Designing a new website for Brownsville, Texas, involves balancing multiple elements to effectively represent its multicultural vibrancy, rich outdoor offerings, and unique attractions. Here's how we can approach the design considering Design and Innovation, Creative Implementation, Effectiveness, and Brand Identity.

Objectives: The new Visit Brownsville website aims to deliver an engaging and innovative online experience through its dynamic and responsive design. Key objectives include ensuring the website is fully responsive across all devices to cater to a diverse audience and incorporating interactive elements such as virtual maps of local attractions. Smooth animations and transitions will enhance user navigation, while live event feeds and a calendar will keep the community informed. The creative implementation will feature rich imagery and custom illustrations that tell the story of Brownsville's heritage, complemented by a vibrant color palette and balanced typography. Visit Tyler

1 of 5
Description: Visit Tyler’s brand was more than 15 years, so the team decided it was time to update it. We worked with Saffire to create the logo and update our website at the same time. We embraced our rose history as the Rose Capital of America in the branding. Visitors are interested in seeing flowers year-round. We met with the agriculture extension agency and developed a bloom calendar with Saffire. Visitors can go to the page and click on the month they plan to be in our city and see what blooms during that time. We added a map to the page, highlighting the top attractions in our city. While the website has only been active four months, we have seen a 37% increase in visitors, the time on our website. The bounce rate is 47%, matching the bounce rate over the same time frame in 2023. Visitors are also spending more than a minute on the site.

Objectives:
1. Rebranding and new, improved and more youthful website.
2. Engaging content to attract visitors to explore further.
3. Embracing our heritage through our rose branding, while enhancing the image to be so much more than just a rose.
