When can I submit my items?

Submissions will be accepted from May 16 - June 30, 2023, prior to the start of the TACVB Annual Conference.

How many categories can I enter?

You can enter as many as you would like within your budget area.

What are the budget categories?

Budget categories are: Under $$500,000, $501,000 - $1 Million, and Over $1 Million.

How much does it cost to enter and where do I pay?

The rate for submitting items is $60 per submission. You may submit your payment online after completing your online submission form.

What type of images are allowed for uploading?

You can submit either .JPG or .PNG files via the upload tool.

How big can the image files be?

Each image must be sized to not exceed 725px width X 500px height. The total file size of all images combined, submitted within a single form should not be more than 5MB.

What resolution should my images be?

All images should be saved at 72 DPI using RGB colors.

When does Peer Recognition voting start and end?

Voting for the Peer Recognition Awards will take place before the conference. Voting will take place online from July 5 - July 28. You will be able to login with an account just once and vote for your choices. This will streamline the process of voting and to make certain your email is only registered with one ballot.

*Note: Only DMO/CVB Staff are allowed to vote via their official TACVB membership email (traditionally their work email.) Any votes submitted with a non TACVB membership email will not be recognized.

When does Judge's Choice voting occur?

Voting for Judge's Choice will take place before the conference at an undisclosed location. TACVB staff has secured the judges to ensure fair and accurate judging.

Who judges these awards?

Each year the TACVB Idea Fair reaches out to various industry professionals to act as judges. These judges may or may not be affiliated with TACVB, but either way bipartisanship and fairness is always used when picking out judges.

When are winners announced and awards handed out?

All awards will be presented during Annual Conference in Austin.
