Description: In September 2024, Visit Beaumont, TX launched a transformative new website, meticulously designed to elevate the experience for travelers, community members, and meeting planners. This isn't just an update; it's a complete reimagining of our digital presence, built to showcase Beaumont's unique charm and diverse offerings with unparalleled clarity and functionality. Our innovative homepage features a custom-made, interactive map, while the enhanced meetings micro page now boasts a streamlined venue selection process perfect for planners, and our friendly Beaumonsters are on hand to guide travelers through curated interests. Additionally, we added a dedicated microsite and map for Tyrrell Park, inviting exploration of this hidden gem.

Objectives:

To significantly enhance the digital experience for travelers, community members, and meeting planners by providing intuitive navigation and rich, interactive content.

To increase user engagement and time spent on the website through innovative features like the custom interactive homepage map and dedicated Tyrrell Park microsite.

To streamline the planning process for meeting professionals by offering a comprehensive and easily navigable section showcasing diverse venues and a clear selection process.

To effectively promote Beaumont's key attractions and hidden gems, including Tyrrell Park, to a wider audience, thereby driving increased visitation and local engagement.

Visit Lubbock

Description: The new Visit Lubbock website is a visually striking, user-focused platform that captures the vibrant spirit of Lubbock, Texas. It features interactive maps, dynamic search filters, curated itineraries and a robust event calendar to personalize the visitor experience. Social media channels and user-generated content are seamlessly integrated through embedded feeds throughout each page. The design showcases bold imagery and captivating content that expresses the spirit of Lubbock’s friendly identity.

Objectives: The primary objective in building the new website was to enhance the visitor experience through a vibrant, modern design and intuitive navigation. The site was developed to drive engagement, simplify trip planning and highlight key attractions, events and local gems in Lubbock.

New Braunfels Chamber of Commerce CVB

Description: VisitNBTX.com launched in June 2024. The website was completely revamped from the previous PlayInNewBraunfels.com. The revamp included a new CMS platform, new domain for branding and simplicity along with a new CRM platform feeding information to the CMS. We started from scratch to create the look and feel of the website to provide visitors, stakeholders and residents a more pleasant experience. Our previous site was very text heavy, and we shifted to something more “magazine like” and visually appealing to showcase the magic of New Braunfels we want people to experience.

Objectives: User experience was very important when creating the new website, so we carefully mapped out the site plan to ensure it was easy to navigate and included pertinent information for visitors. Our previous website had a high bounce rate reaching up to 70% with one of the main factors being a poor user experience. The new website decreased bounce rates 40% and engagement time is just under 1min. Over 165k unique users visited the website in non-peak season (9 months) averaging over 18k users per month.

When creating the sitemap, we utilized Google Analytics to ensure the most visited pages were easy to find and navigate. We also modified our main navigation verbiage to be straightforward and easy for visitors to find what they are looking for. Our website is very directory driven as we have a lot of tourism industry businesses to showcase, and we wanted to ensure our elaborate website was easy to navigate.

The search feature on VisitNBTX.com is inclusive of directory listings and articles on the website. For example, when you search Gruene Hall, you will find the directory listing for the dance hall where you can gather basic location information, description of venue, as well as a direct link to the Gruene Hall website and social channels. If that’s not what you were looking for you can also find any articles featuring Gruene Hall on our website. While visitors and stakeholders may be looking for different components, we wanted to ensure there was one place to navigate which provided all available search results.

In order to enhance the user experience and make it more personal we provide a variety of filters/categories so the user can look for places they are interested in specifically. For example, if you are looking to stay in a Bed & Breakfast as opposed to a hotel, in the “Places to stay” section you can select Bed & Breakfasts from the drop down or filter a few options when searching for that perfect place to stay!

Visit Pearland

Description: Visit Pearland's 2024 website renovation produced a modern, colorful window into Pearland as a destination. From a welcoming homepage featuring a highlight reel of activities and local businesses to an entire section of the site dedicated to curated itineraries and experiences.

VisitPearland.com is managed internally by the Visit Pearland team including content creation, event calendar organization, directory upkeep, and more. The renovation was completed in tandem with The Dealey Group marketing and content agency.

Objectives: Visit Pearland’s goal for Pearland's official destination website is to provide visitors and community members the up-to-date information they need to plan their day, weekend, or longer in the city with user friendly features.

Project Cost: $25,000 for website design and development with The Dealey Group and countless hours managing the website internally.
