Description:
Mineral Wells, once renowned as "America's Great Health Resort," is reclaiming its status as a premier wellness destination. In collaboration with State Representative Glenn Rogers, we secured the official designation as the Wellness Capital of Texas. Our comprehensive campaign features an informative website showcasing Mineral Wells' exceptional qualities, fostering local engagement and providing valuable media resources. Additionally, we orchestrated successful wellness events, including Crazy Wellness Retreats and Crazy Wellness Day, offering immersive workshops for health-conscious individuals.

Objectives:

1. Secure and solidify the official designation of Mineral Wells as the Wellness Capital of Texas: We actively engaged State Representative, Glenn Rogers, and led the community in earning the official Wellness Capital of Texas designation from the state of Texas.

2. Reposition and promote Mineral Wells as a premiere wellness destination: In addition to working with the Wellness Tourism Association to meet their criteria to become a designated wellness destination on a global scale, we are shifting our messaging, redesigning our website and developing programs and packages to appeal to wellness-minded travelers.

3. Engage and encourage locals to embrace health and wellness and capture media attention: Through community collaborations, we have created multiple wellness opportunities such as our Crazy Wellness Retreats and Crazy Wellness Day - held in conjunction with Global Wellness Day. Additionally, we worked with the mayor to declare March as the Month of Wellness in Mineral Wells, further engaging and encouraging locals to prioritize their well-being.

4. Capture attention of the media and wellness travelers: To effectively capture the attention of media outlets and wellness travelers, we employed various strategies. We promoted the Crazy Wellness Retreats, Crazy Wellness Day, and Month of Wellness through targeted social media campaigns and paid advertisements. Additionally, we organized a press conference to serve as the official announcement of the Wellness Capital of Texas designation. We also created a series of webpages dedicated to the designation, providing resources for the media.

5. Offer locals a way to align their brands with the new designation: Recognizing the importance of community involvement, we also created webpages to provide access to the official logo and several marketing ideas they can employ. By empowering locals to embrace and promote the new designation, we foster a sense of ownership and community pride.
